Mawdesley Tennis Club

Monday is the NEW Team Tennis Training Night. Anyone who has played for any of our teams is welcome to come down and play (including junior players and players who would like to be considered for the senior teams in the future). Players will have the opportunity to mix-in and play matches ensuring that players stay match fit now that the season has finished. Play will continue on a Monday night for as long as the weather and light permits us to. There is no need to sign-up just turn-up anytime from 6.30pm onwards until dusk every Monday night (x2 courts each week will be booked). The Winter Tennis League will re-commence this Autumn 2010, and this year we hope to hold both mixed doubles and level doubles leagues. Players will be grouped according to their ability. More details and exact dates will be available soon, but matches will take place on Sunday afternoons from 1.30pm onwards. Floodlit Winter Tennis will re-commence this Autumn 2010. More details and exact dates will be available soon, but matches will take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7.30pm onwards . Floodlit Tennis will take place both Pre-Christmas and Post-Christmas, so if you are interested in playing please sign-up in the Clubhouse with your preferred playing night. Social Tennis Practice Sessions are held every Friday from 6.00pm until dusk and every Sunday afternoon from 2.30pm-5.00pm from April-September. Any member of Mawdesley Tennis Club is eligible to come down and play. Social tennis gives players of all standards an opportunity to play friendly matches against other members of the club, and it is a great way to meet new people.
